Product Description
The innovative bilateral technology of this GARRETT METAL DETECTORS PD 6500i™ walk-through metal detector features transmitters and receivers in each side panel to allow scanning from both sides for uniform detection throughout the archway. Broadband technology can analyze targets across a broad range of frequencies for greater accuracy, improved ferrous and non-ferrous detection, and fewer false alarms for higher throughput. Design provides superior noise cancellation resulting in easier setup with no need rotate the detector unit to avoid interference from nearby equipment such as x-ray machines or other metal detection equipment. Both detector panels have independent zone indicator lights to identify not only height, but also left, center, and right locations for one or more objects passing through the archway. Universal “wait” and “proceed” symbols at the detector entrance help control patron traffic through the archway.
